NERUMI LEGAL
Privacy Policy
The short version: Nerumi collects no data. Your baby's care records remain on your devices and in your iCloud account—not on a Nerumi server.
Effective 18 August 2026Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Nerumi, developed by Samet Eraslan, handles information when you use the iPhone, Apple Watch, widget and related app experiences. Nerumi is intended for parents and adult caregivers, not for use by children themselves.
Information you choose to enter
Depending on the features you use, Nerumi may store a baby profile, care events, sleep and feeding timers, diaper records, pumping and milk-stash data, growth measurements, medicines, appointments, vaccination records, tooth and development milestones, notes, questions and memory photos.
- These records are written to your device first.
- When iCloud is available, Apple CloudKit may synchronize them to your private iCloud database.
- If you explicitly invite another caregiver, selected records may appear in a shared CloudKit database managed through your Apple account.
What the developer can access
Nerumi does not collect product-usage analytics and includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. It does not operate an account database for care records or provide the developer with a dashboard for browsing your baby's entries or photos.
- Diagnostic payloads supplied by Apple MetricKit are stored locally on the device for a limited period and are not uploaded by Nerumi.
- Emails you choose to send to support are received and processed only to answer your request.
Apple services
Nerumi relies on Apple services including iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, notifications, Live Activities, widgets and Watch connectivity. Apple processes related device, account, purchase and service information under Apple's own privacy terms. Purchases and subscription status are verified through StoreKit; Nerumi does not receive your payment-card details.
Notifications and permissions
Notifications are optional. When enabled, Nerumi may schedule sleep-window, appointment or trial reminders. Photo access is requested only when you choose a photo feature. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain until you delete them, delete the relevant baby profile, or remove the app data from your device and iCloud. Shared records may remain available to other participants until sharing is stopped or those records are deleted. Support email is retained only as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can view, edit, export and delete records inside the app. You can turn off iCloud, notifications or sharing through Nerumi and Apple settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have data-access, correction, deletion or objection rights. Because care data is held in your iCloud account, many requests can be completed directly in the app; you may contact us for assistance.
Security and important limits
Nerumi uses Apple platform protections and CloudKit access controls, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device passcode and Apple ID secure. Nerumi is not an emergency or medical-record system and should not be the only copy of information required for care.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be communicated in the app or on this site. Questions: samet@nerumi.app.
